Assistant Principal Dutcher Receives Doctorate

Americus-Sumter High's Marnie Dutcher has received a doctorate of education degree from Columbus State University. Dr. Dutcher completed the doctoral program in Curriculum and Leadership. She joined the ASHS team earlier this year as an assistant principal.

 A native of Thomasville, Dr. Dutcher has lived in Americus for more than twenty years. She has worked with Americus-Sumter County Schools in varying capacities since 1996, including teacher, academic coach, and administrator. She previously received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Georgia Southwestern State University.
