ASHS Band Travels To Bainbridge

The Americus-Sumter High School band traveled to Bainbridge last week to participate in the Georgia Bandmasters Concert Band Festival. Twenty-three schools from Georgia and Alabama were also in attendance. The ASHS team of thirty-four students received an overall "Superior" rating for performing three selections: "American Patrol" by F.W. Meacham, arranged by Ed Huckaby, "A House Divided" by Brian Balmages, and "Adrenaline Engines" by Randall D. Standridge.
